Hybrid Work Policy

At Finspire Labs, flexibility is valued and the merits of a hybrid work environment well recognized. This hybrid work arrangement is designed to steer employees who want to work partly from the office and partly from home so that productivity, effective communication, and a healthy balance between work and life can be optimized without compromising on company standards.

All full-time and part-time workers are eligible for hybrid work arrangements whose jobs can be performed at home. Employees must have a quiet, distraction-free adequate home workspace with a reliable internet connection. Hybrid work requests must be approved by a manager, balancing the requirements of the job, team needs, and performance.

While employees spend at least three days a week at the office, they can also spend two days at home. The agreement of schedules with management in advance and advance communication of at least two weeks before changing one’s remote or in-office days are necessary. For all intent and purposes, there should be a workforce ready to work, considering that company core hours run between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM based on the local time, although some flexibility is still allowed between the start and end times.

Key for communication, employees are expected to take advantage of the above-mentioned company-approved tools such as email, Slack, and Zoom for frequent check-ins and virtual meetings. Video meetings are defaulted to have cameras on in active participation.

The performance expectations are going to be exactly the same for hybrid employees as for those working fully in-office. Instead, managers will establish well-defined objectives, deliverables, and KPIs that track their employees’ activities to sustain consistency.

Regular performance reviews are going to be in place to check on progress, provide feedback, and indicate where adjustments are needed. Hybrid employees are expected to be present at work during their remote hours, being totally focused on their work. Their remote productivity shall not be at less than a professional level.

Data security is the top issue at Finspire Labs. According to companies, employees are expected to follow set protocols on how to protect sensitive information. The protocol states that access from home must be processed through company systems using a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

Only company-approved software and hardware must be used, and the devices must be current with antivirus protection. The IT department should immediately be notified in case of data breaches or other such security incidents.

Your home office may require equipment from Finspire Labs, such as laptops and software. You are expected to ensure that your home office is safe and productive. Additional supplies or reimbursements for some expenses, according to manager approval, can be requested. We expect you to take breaks. Managing work and personal life is encouraged. Managers will be able to do this by monitoring workload and assisting in effective use of tasks and management.

IT support for technical problems associated with remote working are provided during any time of the business day. The employee needs to be assured that the internet available at home is of a high speed, so it will ensure that there is no hindrance to its work experience. Finspire Labs also allows continuous learning along with a procedure of professional development by conducting virtual training sessions and workshops, thus further aiding in overall career growth for all employees.

Periodically, the manager and the Human Resources team will review the hybrid work arrangements as to their effectiveness and adjust accordingly. Employees should voice their need to make the policy as close to their needs as well as to the goals of the company. Any form of non-compliance with the set hybrid work guidelines may result in having the following disciplinary actions: adjusting the type of work arrangement, taking corrective measures appropriately.

This policy will, therefore, create a balanced and productive work environment by enjoying the benefits of having both remote and in-office work arrangements for Finspire Labs employees. It will regularly be reviewed, then amended and revised as circumstances dictate to ensure it continues to drive the growth of our team and company.
